This is the personal site of Martin Sturm. I’m currently finishing my Msc. project at the University of Technology in Eindhoven, which is also the place where I currently live. I also write articles for the Dutch technology website Twekers.net. I have also a bachelor degree in electrical engineering.

I have also a broad interest in music (in general…). In the past I have played piano in a Big Band, but currently I play this instrument only in my spare time on my own . Because I followed lessons in playing keyboard/synthesizer for over 11 years, the technical development of these instruments are also one of my interests. I listen to music of different genres, but I call myself a fan of the band Genesis. But I have also a lot of cd’s of other bands and artists, ranging from Depeche Mode to Alicia Keys and from Deep Purple to Duran Duran.

On this website you can find my weblog at which I write occasionally some articles about various subjects. Mostly these articles are related to my interests, such as (digital) photography, webdevelopment and (open source) software. One of my interests are computers in general (how cliché). Because Windows on an x86 computer is rather boring (and not free software ), I mainly use Unix-based operating systems, such as Linux and Mac OS X.

In the feature I will also add a photo section to this site, on which I will publish a small subset of my photo collection.
